Tablet for Clinic Reception

One of our Doctor’s approached us with this query:

I am contemplating buying a tab for the clinic reception as the little laptop is now giving way. So wondering if a tab would work. The budget is within 10k so I found these ones… can you suggest which one has a better config?? 1. Acer Iconia Tab7 A1-7

While we would have helped to know what the primary intended usage of the tablet is and the requirements in terms of features, we tried helping the doctor to the best our our abilities.

Nevertheless, surmising from the options mentioned and budget:

We recommended the Asus Fonepad 7 for it’s smooth interface, good battery life and higher resolution screen at that price point.

We also suggested the HP Slate 7 Voice Calling tablet in case the receptionist was going to use it for making calls as well.

We helped the doctor setup the tablet for the receptionist to enter the doctor’s appointments, sync the calendar and send scheduled messages to the patients.

At the same time, we ensured data privacy and auto-backup of the tablet at regular duration to reduce the doctor’s worries.
